FUNDAMENTALS | Foundations of Movement

The most important aspect of Functional Training is to master the basics before progressing any movement, resistance, or (in)stability activity.

Our FUNDAMENTALS Program provides a base of support for all future training and treatment needs.

These structured classes are not intended to take the place of your existing training program but are designed to support you in developing your understanding of your own movement potential – putting you in a stronger position to take your fitness and overall training goals to a higher level.

POSTURE CIRCUIT LVL 1 | Conditioning​

Train in a safe manner while developing a resilient body that will keep you well and fit all year round.

Our CONDITIONING classes are not about how much you sweat, but how well you move in a safe and structured manner. Our emphasis is on creating a strong and mobile person that works within its own unique characteristics and possibilities.

POSTURE CIRCUIT, is structured to assist you better function through your everyday activities, with your underlying posture (structure) a central element of improving your movement (function) patterns.

 

CONDITIONING:

• Precedes all other expectations in training
• Creates the foundation from which all other goals can be achieved
• Is not time based, but rather outcome based. You can’t move to point B until you understand and master point A.

 

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: It is recommended that you go through our FUNDAMENTALS Classes before you proceed to here. FUNDAMENTALS will allow you the base from which you can better work with the concepts and principles explored in both CONDITIONING and STRENGTH classes.

POSTURE CIRCUIT LVL 1 | Conditioning​

Become stronger, while developing an understanding of what it means to be strong.

By progressing through our FUNDAMENTALS and CONDITIONING classes you are better able to develop a stronger, more resilient body in a safe and supportive environment. The small group sizes allow you to get the basics ‘under your belt’, allowing for steady progress.
 
As with all our classes our emphasis is on creating a strong and mobile person that works within its own unique characteristics and possibilities.
 

POSTURE CIRCUIT, is structured to assist you better function through your everyday activities, with your underlying posture (structure) a central element of improving your movement (function) patterns.

 

STRENGTH:

• Develops muscle endurance
• Improves mobility and stability
• A stronger body will assist you to do the things you love to do, for longer.

 

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: It is recommended that you go through our CONDITIONING LVL 1 Classes before you proceed to here. These classes will allow you the base from which you can better work with the concepts and principles explored in STRENGTH LVL 2 classes.

RESTORE - Stretch | Roll | Release​

Whether new or experienced, these classes allow you the opportunity to unlock tension within a small group environment.

Incorporating Foam rollers, massage balls, and resistance bands, this small group class will provide the perfect opportunity to ease out tired muscles.

ROLFING MELBOURNE

While not essential, these classes work best in conjunction with our unique style of Soft Tissue Therapy - ROLFING Structural Integration. This approach provides an integrated process that uncovers imbalance, and restores ease of movement that best utilizes our Movement Based Training.
